Spotifinder is the name of our brand new wireless remote controller for Spotify.

Spotifinder talks to MacOS X computers using a free MacOS X application with the same name. To use Spotifinder, you therefore first need to complete a few steps in your host (Mac) computer.

• Start Spotify.
• Install and start Spotifinder in your Mac. (Note: The Mac application is Intel only.)
• Make sure your AirPort is on and connected to the same WiFi network as your iPhone/iPod Touch
• Make sure you have enabled access for assistive devices

Spotifinder uses Universal Access in your Mac in order to act as a remote “assistant” controlling Spotify. To make this work, open your System preferences.

• Start Spotifinder in your iPhone.
• The iPhone app will search for your Spotify host Mac, then indicate as connected (a little red dot in the Spotifinder logo should disappear).
• Browse wirelessly for favourite music. Set the volume wirelessly. Play. Enjoy!

Note: If the app loses its connection to Spotify, try exiting the app and then restart it.
